Rosemary Anderson Prep: A Triumph of Success

Rosemary Anderson Prep athletes compete at an elite level, with the men's basketball team playing on across the nation and the volleyball team dominating locally. This commitment to excellence is a testament to the dedication and hard work of both student-athletes and coaches here at Rosemary Anderson.

Playing at an Elite Level

The men's basketball team has showcased their skills nationally, competing in the EBIC League and facing top-tier teams in tournaments in major cities across the U.S. from Seattle to Atlanta. Meanwhile, the volleyball team has dominated the local scene in the CEVA League, proving that their success extends regionally.

Balancing Academics and Athletics

Men’s Basketball Team players present their business portfolio in their Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon class

Along with their demanding training schedules, Rosemary Anderson Prep student-athletes prioritize academics. The program has instilled a culture where excelling as a student comes before being an athlete. Striking a delicate balance between school workload and athletic commitments, the support from teachers and coaches helps students succeed in both areas. From smaller class sizes promoting individualized care to near collegiate-level training, these athletes are being set up for success post-high school.

After completing the first-ever Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon (MESO) cohort, Rosemary Anderson Prep students are taking on another rigorous academic challenge – preparing for post-secondary education. Many students have enrolled at Portland Community College. They are gaining firsthand experience with college-level courses, furthering the goal of setting students up for success in the classroom and equipping them with the necessary tools and confidence for the next academic chapter.
