We Got Your Back!Annual Community Backpack and School Supply Giveaway
“We Got Your Back!” is our annual community backpack and school supply giveaway, created to support children and families in East County. The event is open to all students in the K-12 East County community and aims to ease the financial burden of purchasing school supplies and preparing for the new school year.
Over the past four years, “We’ve Got Your Back!” has given away over 6,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to underserved students and ensured a fresh start to their school year. Supporters of the event, Bank of America, The Boeing Company, and many additional members of the local business community, donate the backpacks, school supplies, and food, making this an extremely successful event year after year.
