CHI Participants are also inspiring the community. Machelle, a single mother of five, juggles overnight shifts and Distance Learning for her kids. View the story from KGW.

LeeAnn is a participant in our NextGen program at POIC, and she lost her job during the pandemic. Through Worksystems, we were able to offer her COVID-19 emergency aid for rent assistance. Hear her story. She has recently gotten her DHS-approved child care certifications, and our Career Coaches are working with her to find secure employment.

Finally, Rosemary Anderson students from the Natural Resource Pathway program were featured in the Friends of Trees β€œTreemail”. Our student interns earn an hourly stipend while building valuable job skills. Read more.
