We are looking for partners to help connect our at-risk youth with education and training to improve life chances. Portland OIC and Rosemary Anderson High School receive no guaranteed state or federal funding on an ongoing basis.
Our ‘at-risk’ students have a much higher level of need than students in traditional schools. Students entering RAHS are often two grade levels behind their peers and require special instruction for learning disabilities, tutoring, assessment, and counseling which are critical to building a foundation for success and breaking the poverty cycle.
95% of our students fall below federal standards of poverty and live in challenging family situations.
